• RANKED WINS: The Longhorns won their ninth game of the season against an AP-top 25 team and fifth win over an AP-top 10 team with their win over No. 5 LSU. Texas became the first program in 20 years to win three straight games over top-10 teams.
• SCHAEFER ON NATIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR WATCH LIST: Texas head coach Vic Schaefer was named to the Naismith Women's College Coach of the Year watch list this week. Schaefer, the 2018 Naismith National Coach of the Year has guided teams to the Elite Eight or further in six of the last seven seasons and has collected 10 seasons of 25 or more wins. Coach Schaefer will celebrate his birthday on Sunday.
• IN THE MOOD: Sunday will be the third straight sellout for Texas women's basketball at Moody Center. The Longhorns are 14-0 at Moody Center this season and have a 21-game winning streak going back to the 2023-24 season.
• SENIOR DAY: Following the game Texas women's basketball will recognize seniors Rori Harmon, Shay Holle, Taylor Jones and Aaliyah Moore.
• HONORS FOR HARMON: Rori Harmon was recently named to the watch list for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year as well as a top-10 finalist for the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Award. Harmon became the first player in Texas women's basketball history to reach 1,200 points and 600 assists.
• TOUGH D: Texas tied an SEC record for fewest points allowed in holding Georgia to 26 points in their most recent game. The Longhorns defense limited Georgia to just 10 points in the second half of the game. Taylor Jones notched a double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds.
