Women’s Basketball’s Holle named Academic All-District honoree

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas women's basketball's Shay Holle has been named a member of the 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Basketball team, selected by College Sports Communicators, the organization announced.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Holle graduated from the McCombs School of Business in three years with a degree in finance and is now pursuing a master's degree in strategic communications.
Holle has played in 168 career games at Texas and is the winningest player in program history with 142 wins. Texas is 76-14 in games Holle has started in her career.
Holle was selected to the Big 12 All-Defensive Team in the 2023-24 season. Holle has scored 899 career points and has made 114 3-pointers.
