Women’s Basketball selected to represent USA at GLOBL JAM

The Longhorns will play in Toronto on August 13-17.
TORONTO — Canada Basketball in partnership with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced today that Texas women's basketball will represent the USA at GLOBL JAM, taking place August 13-17 in Toronto.
GLOBL JAM, a world-class international basketball showcase, features men's and women's Under-23 teams from around the globe. Games will be held at Toronto's Mattamy Athletic Centre and broadcast nationally across Sportsnet platforms.
"The University of Texas brings strong traditions of basketball excellence," said Michael Bartlett, Canada Basketball President and CEO. "As the 24-25 SEC co-champions and their advancement to the Final Four, we're proud to welcome this storied program and their fans to GLOBL JAM this August."
Fans looking to cheer on Texas can secure a Team USA Gold Pack, which includes access to all six Team USA men's and women's round robin games, as well as the gold medal championship game. GLOBL JAM tickets are now available via Ticketmaster starting at less than $20 per session for two games.
In addition to Canada and USA, GLOBL JAM will also feature Brazil, Puerto Rico and Japan's U23 teams.
2024-25 was a historic season for the Longhorns as they won 35 games to set a program record for wins in the NCAA Era. Texas advanced to the Final Four for the first time in 22 years and won the SEC regular season championship in their first season in the league. Madison Booker was named the SEC Player of the Year and an Associated Press First Team All-American. Booker won the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year award for the second straight season. Rori Harmon and Taylor Jones earned WBCA All-America honorable mention honors and Jordan Lee earned a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team.
