Jordan Lee earns second gold medal with Team USA after leading squad to the 2025 FIBA Women’s U19 World Cup title in Brno, Czech Republic.
BRNO, Czech Republic — Texas Women's Basketball's Jordan Lee earned her second gold medal with USA Basketball as Team USA won gold in the 2025 FIBA Women's U19 World Cup with a 88-76 win over Australia on Sunday.
Lee started all seven games in the World Cup and had seven points, 10 rebounds and four assists in the gold medal game. The best game for Lee came in the semifinal win against Spain with 15 points, five rounds, three assists and two steals.
Lee earned her second gold medal with USA Basketball. Her first was the 2024 FIBA Women's U18 AmeriCup in Colombia. Lee was also part of the 2024 USA Women's Nike Hoop Summit team that defeated the World Select squad 83-80. She led all players with a +17 plus/minus in that game.
Lee finished a strong freshman season in which she earned All-SEC Freshman Team honors. She scored in double figures in 10 games, including 16 points in the Final Four against No. 2 South Carolina and 17 points on the road at No. 9 Oklahoma in the first SEC game of her collegiate career. Lee helped the Longhorns capture a SEC regular season championship and advance to the Final Four for the first time in 22 years.
