Notables
• GLOBL JAM: The Globl Jam is an international tournament that features top U23 men's and women's basketball teams. Texas will represent USA and will compete against Canada, Brazil and Puerto Rico in the event.
• FINAL FOUR: The Longhorns are coming off the 2024-25 season in which they advanced to the Final Four for the fourth time in program history and first time since 2003. Texas set a program record for wins in the NCAA Era with 35 and shared the regular season SEC Championship in their first season in the league. Texas has won a regular season or conference tournament championship in each of the last four seasons.
• INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION: Madison Booker and Jordan Lee represented USA Basketball in international events earlier this summer. Booker won her fourth gold medal with Team USA as they won the FIBA Women's AmeriCup. Lee was part of the USA basketball team that won gold in the U19 World Cup. It was the second gold medal with Team USA for Lee.
• NEW ADDITIONS: Texas has four newcomers on their Globl Jam roster. Ashton Judd (Missouri), Breya Cunningham (Arizona) and Teya Sidberry (Utah, Boston College) came via transfer and Aaliyah Crump is an incoming freshman. Crump was ranked No. 5 in the 2025 class by ESPN.
