Sophomore Carmen Herea moved on with a second-round win in the singles main draw on Thursday.
Cary, N.C. – Texas Women's Tennis sophomore No. 21 Carme Herea moved on to the singles main draw round of 16 at the ITA All-American Championships on Thursday in Cary, N.C.
Herea downed highly-touted Stanford freshman Alyssa Ahn, who recently earned a 2025 US Open main draw wild card, 7-5, 6-3. She will next face 6 seed No. 10 Piper Charney of Michigan on Friday at 9 a.m. ET/8 a.m. CT.
