The No. 1/2 Longhorns host powers Louisville and Ohio State in a thrilling all-finals meet with FREE admission!
Texas Swimming & Diving invites Longhorn Nation back to the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center on Friday, January 23 for the second annual Eddie Reese Texas Showdown featuring national powers Louisville (No. 8 Men/No. 6 Women) and Ohio State (No. 16 Men/No. 14 Women) for the marquee swimming & diving combined "all-finals" meet of the season. Currently, the Texas Men are ranked No. 1 while the Texas Women are ranked No. 2. Fans can look forward to non-stop action from the top programs in the nation including numerous 2024 Paris Olympians.
Admission is FREE for all regular season Texas Swimming & Diving meets and Friday's finals are scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
Entry:
Fans should access the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center via the pedestrian route on MLK Blvd. This provides direct access to the main entrance of the Texas Swimming Center. This event will follow clear bag policy procedures.
Parking:
Fans are encouraged to purchase parking in advance for the Brazos Garage in advance via UT Click and Park. Advance parking must be purchased by midnight the night before the meet.
Bevo XV's Birthday:
Bevo XV, the world's most famous mascot and pride of the Texas Longhorns, will celebrate his birthday on January 23. Come out at 5 p.m. for photo ops with the Big Guy at Santa Rita on the corner of MLK Blvd and Trinity St, one block west of the Texas Swimming Center.
Meet & Greet with Olympians:
Beginning at 5 p.m., fans can get autographs with several swimming & diving Olympians and professional athletes on the concourse including Leon Marchand, Luke Hobson, Carson Foster, Shaine Casas, Chris Guiliano, Jack Kelly, Summer McIntosh, Regan Smith, Simone Manuel, and Lindsay Looney. We highly encourage fans interested in autographs to arrive early as athletes will sign until approximately 5:45 p.m.
Eddie Reese Texas Showdown takes center stage
All non-diving events for the Eddie Reese Texas Showdown will be showcased in the center of the facility with equal vantage points for all fans.

Beginning at 5 p.m., the first 500 fans will get thundersticks inside the main entrance of the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. In addition, commemorative Eddie Reese Texas Showdown posters will be available while supplies last.
Texas Cheer, Texas Pom, and Hook `Em in Attendance
Texas Cheer, Texas Pom, and everyone's favorite costumed mascot Hook `Em will attend the Eddie Reese Texas Showdown.
