Enge tabbed Co-Swimmer of the Week and Estudillo named Diver of the Week.
AUSTIN, Texas – University of Texas junior Piper Enge was named the Southeastern Conference Women's Co-Swimmer of the Week while junior Alejandra Estudillo was tabbed the SEC Women's Diver of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
This marked Enge's second career SEC weekly honor, as she previously earned SEC Women's Freshman of the Week on Nov. 5, 2024. Estudillo also registered her second career SEC weekly honor, as she previously claimed SEC Women's Diver of the Week on Feb. 4, 2026.
Enge claimed individual victories in the 100m breaststroke (1:04.63) and the 200m breaststroke (2:24.12) while also swimming the second (breaststroke) leg on the winning 200m medley relay to lead Texas to an 188-112 win over host No. 5 Indiana and a 250-50 victory over Northwestern during last Friday's tri-meet in Bloomington. The three teams competed in the short course meters (25m) format, instead of the normal short course yards, as athletes prepared for the short course World Championship Trials. Enge reached the A qualifying standard for the World Championships in both the 100m breaststroke and the 200m breaststroke in Friday's meet.
Estudillo swept the 1-meter and 3-meter events against an elite field in Texas' wins over No. 5 Indiana and Northwestern on Friday. On the 1-meter board, she posted a score of 336.55 points to claim a dominant 30-point margin of victory over runner-up Lily Witte of Indiana (306.05). On the 3-meter board, Estudillo recorded a score of 370.75 to earn an impressive 25.9-point margin of victory over Witte (344.85).
The Longhorns will compete in the USA Swimming Short Course Worlds Selection Meet on Oct. 28-31 (Wednesday-Saturday) in Westmont, Ill.
