UT Tower lighting to honor Beach Volleyball set for tonight

The Tower will be lit in Burnt Orange in recognition of the team’s MPSF Championship title.
AUSTIN, Texas – UT Tower will be lit in burnt orange Sunday night to celebrate Texas beach volleyball's 2026 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championship.
Per tradition, the university recognizes UT sports programs that win a conference team championship with a burnt orange lighting of the campus landmark.
Fans are encouraged to arrive in front of the Littlefield Fountain on 21st Street at 8:30 p.m. CT to watch the team take photo.
In its first season in the conference, Texas captured the MPSF tournament title Friday with wins over No. 1 UCLA, No. 5 USC and No. 6 Grand Canyon.
The Longhorns were selected as the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Championship earlier Sunday, the highest in program history. Texas will face Georgia State in the first round at Gulf Shores, Alabama.
