Cross Country Announces 2026 Schedule

Texas will open the season Sept. 4 at the Floyd Farms Invitational in Lampasas before returning to College Station the following week.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Men's and Women's Cross Country have announced their 2026 schedule, featuring eight competitions across Texas, Missouri, Arkansas and Indiana.
The Longhorns will open the season close to home on Sept. 4, traveling to Lampasas, Texas, for the Floyd Farms Invitational. Texas will remain in the Lone Star State the following week for the Texas A&M Invitational in College Station on Sept. 11.
After a two-week break, the Longhorns will travel to Columbia, Mo., for the Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 25. Texas will then compete in the Chile Pepper Festival on Oct. 3 in Fayetteville, Ark., before returning to College Station for the Arturo Barrios Invitational on Oct. 16.
The postseason begins Oct. 30 at the SEC Cross Country Championships in Columbia, Mo. Texas will then return to College Station for the NCAA South Central Regional on Nov. 13.
The Longhorns will conclude the season at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Nov. 21 in Terre Haute, Ind.
