Women’s Basketball to return to Players Era Showcase

The Longhorns will take on Duke and UCLA at Michelob ULTRA Arena inside Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas women's basketball team will return to Las Vegas for the Players Era Women's Basketball Showcase Dec. 19-20 at Michelob ULTRA Arena inside Mandalay Bay Players Era announced today.
The Longhorns will take on Duke on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 5:00 p.m. CT on ESPN2 and battle UCLA on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 4:00 p.m. CT on ESPN. Times are subject to change.
The full field for the event includes Texas, South Carolina, Notre Dame, USC, UCLA and Duke.
Tickets for the 2026 Players Era Women's Basketball Showcase, starting at $109, will be available as All-Tournament Passes, granting fans access to all six games across both sessions at Michelob ULTRA Arena. School, AXS and MGM Rewards pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on sale starting Thursday, Sept. 3 at 10 a.m. PT at AXS.com.
The 2025-26 season was historic for Texas women's basketball as they advanced to the Final Four for a second straight season for the first time since 1987. Texas captured the 2026 SEC Tournament Championship and earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season. Texas finished the season with an overall record of 35-4. The Longhorns won a nation-leading 16 games over ranked opponents, including four wins over top-5 teams and six wins over top-10 teams.
