2012 U.S. OLYMPIC TRIALS
• Placed 107th in the 100m freestyle (51.48)
AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12)
• Finished 18th in the 50 freestyle at the Big 12 Championships while also swimming the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke
• Clocked a 20.11 for his top 50 free time at the American Short Course
• Claimed 3rd place at the American Short Course in the 100 freestyle with a time of 43.85
• Ended up fourth in the 50 free vs. SMU (21.57) and fifth against both Georgia (21.14)and Texas A&M (20.69)
• Placed fifth in the 100 freestyle against Texas A&M (45.22)
• The first leg of the winning400 freestyle relay team against Georgia (3:02.51)
• Also led off the fifth place 400 freestyle relay team versus Arizona (3:06.01) and was the final leg of the 400 medley relaythat took fourth (3:15.54)
• In a tri-match with Indiana and Michigan, he was the last leg of the 200 medley relay that claimed sixth (1:32.55)
HIGH SCHOOL
• In his senior season, placed second in the 50 yard freestyle at 5A Texas High School State Championships
• Placed fourth in the 50 yard freestyle at 2009 Junior Nationals
• First place finish in both the 50 yard and 100 yard freestyle events at the 2009 T.A.G.S. (Texas Age Group Swimming)
• In 2009, held the first place national ranking in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 23.19
• Member of the USA Swimming National Youth Team in 2009-10
• Named District Swimmer of the Year in his junior season

Born Benjamin Scott Anderson on May 17, 1993... son of Brooke and Scott Anderson, both of whom attended the University of Texas... has two brothers Brady (14) and Charlie (9) ... interested in studying physical culture & sports.
