High School:
Played his junior and senior years at Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fla. (head coach Kevin Boyle) … as a senior in 2016-17, he averaged 9.1 points, 3.7 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game while helping Montverde register a 26-5 record and a runner-up finish at the DICK’s High School Nationals ... suffered a left knee ACL injury prior to his junior year at Montverde and missed the season ... attended St. Michael’s College School in Toronto during his freshman and sophomore seasons and garnered a pair of All-Canadian honors ... as a sophomore, he averaged 16.0 points, five assists and four rebounds per game and led his team to a 48-1 mark and an Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations championship ... the squad went 38-0 against Canadian competition and the only loss came versus Roman Catholic (Pa.) ... scored 49 points in a game during his freshman season.
Canadian National Team in 2015:
Played on Canada’s 2015 U16 FIBA Americas team, helping the squad to a 4-1 record and a silver medal ... averaged 6.2 points and 2.8 rebounds while converting 43.5-percent from the floor and 71.4-percent from the foul line in 14.5 minutes per contest ... recorded nine points in the semifinal win over the Dominican Republic ... that team included RJ Barrett (now with the New York Knicks) and Andrew Nembhard (currently at Gonzaga).
Personal:
Born in Toronto … son of Clive and Suzette Carr ... Suzette played basketball in high school … has one older brother, Duane Notice ... Duane was a member of South Carolina’s 2017 Final Four team and has gone on to play professionally both internationally and with Raptors 905 (Toronto affiliate in the NBA G-League).
