Born in Dallas, Texas … son of Brandy and Mandie Perryman … Brandy was a four-year letterwinner in basketball at Texas (1995-98) ... Brandy finished his career as UT’s all-time most accurate free throw shooter (89.7-percent, 183-204) ... he did not miss a game in his career and set a school record for most consecutive games played (122) ... Brandy was a three-time Academic All-Conference selection who finished his career ranked fourth in three-pointers made (210), fourth in three-pointers attempted (585) and sixth in three-point percentage (.359) ... Mandie worked in the Texas Men’s Basketball office as a student assistant ... has one younger brother, Luke ... his late grandfather, Dennis Perryman, was a longtime athletic director at Garden City Community College (Garden City, Kan.) ... majoring in Sport Management.
