First Season at Texas
Zac Jennings begins his first season as Graduate Assistant with the men’s basketball program at The University of Texas. Jennings was a four-year member (2020-24) of the basketball team at Bellarmine University (Louisville, Ky.).
A four-time selection to the Atlantic Sun Conference Honor Roll, Jennings helped the Knights win the ASUN Tournament championship during his sophomore season in 2021-22. He was an ASUN Honors Graduate and earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Bellarmine University in May 2024.
Following graduation, Jennings served for 10 months as a full-time substitute teacher for Boone County Schools in Florence, Ky.
A native of Burlington, Ky., Jennings played basketball at Cooper High School. He helped his team win three district championships and served as team captain during his senior year. During his freshman season, Jennings earned a spot on the All-Region Tournament Team as Cooper won the 9th Region title and advanced to the state championship game while posting a 31-5 record. He also played baseball for three years in high school.
