Returns for his second year as a walk-on in the UT program … played in 9 games as a sophomore in 2018-19 … served as a practice player with the team as a junior last year … earned a spot as a walk-on during summer workouts prior to the 2018-19 season … spent his freshman year at Texas as a walk-on quarterback with the football team … three-time Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection (Fall 2017, Fall 2018, Spring 2019).

Served as a practice player with the team.
As a Sophomore in 2018-19:
Played in 9 games … scored his first collegiate point on a made free throw and grabbed his first collegiate rebound in 1 minute of action against The Citadel (Nov. 16) … posted a career-high 3 points (1-1 FG, 1-2 FT) and added 1 rebound in 1 minute at West Virginia (Feb. 9) … earned a spot on the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Rolls (min. 3.0 GPA).
High School:
Cypress Ranch High School in Cypress, Texas (head coach Mason Huffmeister) … averaged 16.1 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while leading Cypress Ranch to a 19-14 mark in his senior year … also threw for 1,794 yards and 19 touchdowns against just two interceptions as a senior in 2016.
