Shalika Shetty enters her third season as a social and digital media producer and her sixth year in a full-time role with the men’s basketball program at The University of Texas.
In her role as social and digital media producer, Shetty oversees all in-house video, photography and graphics for recruiting. She also manages and produces creative content for the official Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts for Texas Basketball.
She worked as an administrative assistant for two seasons (2015-16 and 2016-17) and administrative associate for one year (2017-18) before being elevated to her current position in the summer of 2018.
Shetty earned bachelor’s degrees in physical culture and sports and architecture from The University of Texas in 2015. During her time as an undergraduate, she worked as a student office assistant for Men’s Basketball for three years (2013-15). Shetty also worked as a student assistant in the UT International Office (2012) and the UT Call Center (2011).
