- Placed 16th in the 50 freestyle (19.69/19.25 prelims) and 17th in the 100 freestyle (42.61) at the NCAA Championships
- Helped Texas qualify first for the 400 freestyle relay final, as he joined Jeremy Nichols, Brett Ringgold and Townley Haas in the preliminary round (2:47.78/41.79 split) at the NCAA Championships
- Joined John Shebat, Brett Ringgold and Townley Haas to win the 200 freestyle relay (1:17.10/19.59 leadoff) at the Big 12 Championships
