AS A SENIOR (2017-2018)
• Topped Wilson Dong, 6-2, 6-3, at sixth singles in Texas’ win over Bryant in the NCAA Championship First Round
• Posted a 6-3 win over Gardiner Perotti and Eladio Fabregas with partner, Colin Markes, in the 4-0 Texas victory over SMU
• Teamed with Colin Markes to shut out Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's Carlos Pedros Cuevas and Lars Bijsterbosch at third doubles, 6-0
• Notched a 6-1, 6-3 win over UTSA's Joao Ceolin at fifth singles in the 7-0 sweep over UTSA
FALL (2017)
• Finished the fall with a 12-3 singles record and ranked a career-high No. 52 in singles by the ITA
• Captured the singles title at the John Breaux Cajun Tennis Classic with 4-0 record, including a 6-3, 6-3 win over teammate Leonardo Telles in the final
• Posted four singles wins to advance to the qualifying draw at the ITA All-American Championships
• Registered three singles wins to reach the quarterfinals of the ITA Texas Regional Championships
• Won his opening match at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational
AS A JUNIOR (2016-2017)
• Defeated George Cartledge (6-1, 6-0) in UT’s 4-3 win against Virginia Tech
• Helped Texas to a 7-0 victory against Abilene Christian when he knocked off Paul Domanski (6-3, 6-2)
• Defeated UTSA’s Patrick Poetstinger (6-1, 7-6 [7]) in UT’s 7-0 win over the Roadrunners
• Defeated Texas A&M’s Kevin Lam (6-1, 6-0) at the ITA Texas Regional Championship
• Posted a win against SMU’s Samm Butler (4-6, 7-5, 6-4) at the ITA All-American Championships pre-qualifying round
• Notched a win at the Cajun Tennis Classic over Louisiana’s Eric Perez (7-5, 6-1)
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16)
• Posted a win over Baylor’s Tyler Stayer (7-6[4], 6-1) in a Big 12 conference match in Waco
• Defeated Christian Carillo (6-2, 6-4) to help lead Texas to a 4-0 victory over UTSA in the second match of a doubleheader against the Roadrunners
• Notched a win over Sebastian Mortier (6-0, 6-2) in Texas’ 6-1 win over Incarnate Word
• Helped Texas to a 4-0 win over Louisiana-Lafayette after defeating Vlad Kramarov (6-4, 6-2) in the H-E-B Tournament of Champions
• Helped Texas to a 6-1 win over Santa Barbara after defeating Oliver Sec (6-2, 7-6)
• Notched a victory over UT Rio Grande Valley’s Juan Cruz Soria (7-6 [3], 5-7, 1-0 [10-6]) at the Texas Regional Championship
• Posted a win over Central Florida’s Mariano Porter (7-5, 6-2) at the ITA All-America Championships
• Knocked off Illinois’s Pablo Landa (6-1, 6-2), Auburn’s Dante Saleh (7-6 [3], 6-2), and Mississippi’s Gustav Hansson (7-5, 6-2) in the qualifying draw at the ITA All-America Championships
• Advanced to the semifinals at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational after defeating TCU’s Reese Stalder (6-2, 6-3), San Diego’s Pratt Keerasuntonpong (6-1, 6-3), and New Mexico’s Hayden Sabatka (6-3, 6-2)
AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15)
• Posted 16 singles wins (16-8) and nine doubles wins (9-6) as a freshman.
• Went 5-2 at No. 6 singles and 7-4 overall during the dual match season.
• Finished the season winning four of his last five singles matches that completed.
• In just his third collegiate match, defeated LSU’s 57th-ranked Jordan Daigle, 6-3, 7-6 (6-3), at the Cajun Tennis Classic (Sept. 18).
• Earned the match-clinching singles point to help Texas defeat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 4-0 (April 8).
BEFORE TEXAS
• Classified as a five-star 'Blue-Chip' recruit according to TennisRecruiting.net and was the second-ranked recruit in the state of Texas when he signed with UT … achieved career high rankings of No. 21 by TennisRecruiting.net and No. 14 by the USTA in the class of 2014.
• Has eight singles victories over fellow 'Blue-Chip' recruits, including USC freshman Robby Bellamy, Princeton freshman Joshua Yablon and Yale freshman Tyler Lu.
• Former member of the Texas Junior Davis Cup team.
• Won a U.S. Open Sectional Qualifier in mixed doubles in June of 2012 in Arlington, Texas.
