2024-25 (Junior)
Outdoor: Became a Texas Relays Champion in the 110-meter hurdles with a PB wind-aided time of 13.07, broke the program record in the prelims at 13.35, and was a part of the 4x100 relay (39.44) that finished 3rd… Recorded a PB wind-aided time of 10.18 in the 100-meter prelims and finished 3rd in the final in 10.68 at the Tom Tellez Alumni Invite…Recorded a program record time of 13.26 in 110-meter hurdles prelims and won the finals with a time of 13.30, and was on the 4x100 team that finished 7th (39.01) at the Tom Jones Invite…Finished 5th in the 100-meter with a time of 10.28, ran a PB time of 20.73 in the 200-meter to finish 6th, and was a part of the 4x100 team that finished 1st with a time of 39.47 at the Texas Invite... Won the first-ever male SEC Track and field title winning the 110mH in 13.13 to break his own program record for the fourth time this season and was on the 4x100 that finished fourth in 38.81... Matched his PB and program record in the 110mH at NCAA West Prelims (13.13) and helped break the 4x100 program record to qualify for both events at the NCAA Championships... Finished fifth in the 4x100 relay with a time of 39.10 at the NCAA Championships...
Indoor: Finished eighth in the 300m at the Louisville Opener with a time of 34.42 and helped UT B finish second in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:16.16... Ran a personal best in the 300m with a time of 33.89 at the Arkansas Invitational... Won the 200-meter in a personal best time of 21.16 and matched his person best in the 60H with a time of 7.69 at the Dr. MLK Jr. Invite... Ran a personal best in the 200m (20.96) and finished third in the 60mH with a time of 7.70, recording three top-20 performances on the UT all-time performance list at the NM Collegiate Classic... Finished 4th in the 60-meter hurdles finals with a PB time of 7.64 at the SEC Championships and moved to No.2 on UTs All-time performer list...
2023-24 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: Competed on three relays at the Texas Relays, the 4x100 (39.74), 4x200 (1:22.33) and the 4x400 (3:09.59)... On the runner-up 4x100 team that finished in 40.18 at the Mt. SAC Relays...
INDOOR: Opened the season winning the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.85, now the No. 8 performer in UT history, and finished eighth in the 300-meter (34.21) at the Commonwealth College Opener... Finished fifth in the 200m with a PB time of 21.30, won the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.73, but set a PB in the prelims (7.71) and ran on the 4x400 relay at the Rod McCravy Memorial meet... Finished third in the 60m dash with a PB time of 6.82 and was the runner up in the 60m hurdles at 7.75 at the Dr. MLK Jr. Invitational... Ran a personal best in the 60m (6.80), finished fourth in the 60m hurdles (7.96) and was part a the 4x400 at the Eagle Elite Invite... Ran a PB in the 60m hurdles prelims with a time of 7.69 and finished fifth in the finals (7.70) at the Big 12 Championships...
2022-23 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR: Made his outdoor debut in the 400mH at the Tom Jones Memorial finishing with a time of 51.59, ran the 110mH with a time of 14.01 and was part of the b 4x400 team... Ran the 110mH with a wind-aided time of 13.70 and ran the 400mH in 52.59 at the Texas Invitational... Was fifth at the Big 12 Championships in the 110m hurdles at 13.81 seconds and ninth in the 400m hurdles... Reached the NCAA West Prelims where he finished ninth in the first round of 110m hurdles with a personal-best time of 13.74 and 44th in the 400m hurdles at 54.30.
INDOOR: Made his Texas debut in the 300m at the Commonwealth College Opener finishing with a time of 34.81... Finished second in the 60mH (8.03) at the Cardinal Classic and helped Texas win the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:09.37... Finished sixth in the 300, finishing with a time of 35.34 and made the finals of the 60mH at the Dr. MLK Jr. Invitational... Ran personal bests in both the 200 (21.65) and the 400 (48.74) at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic... Finished with PBs in both the 200 (21.53) and the 60mH (7.93) at the Tiger Paw Invite... Finished seventh in the 60mH at the Big 12 Championships after falling in the 200m dash.
Prior to Texas: Was a four-time varsity letter winner... the 2019 UIL state qualifier in the 110m Hurdles (13.47) and the 300m hurdles (36.71)... 2022 UIL State Champion in the 100H with his time of 13.44 and the runner-up in the 300m hurdles with a time of 36.24... The 2021 AAU National Champion in the 110m at 13.9... A six-time AAU All-American and UIL Region 2 1110m hurdles record holder at 13.49... Son of Kamilya Cannon and has two sisters, Kemiya and K'Aris... Hobbies include listening to music especially R&B and alternative and watching anime.
