Outdoor: Won the shot put at the UTSA Invitational with a mark of 17.89m (58-8.5) and was third in the discus with a throw of 56.17m (184-3) ... Finished second in the shot put in the Texas Relays with a heave of 18.50m (60-8.5) and had a discus throw of 49.49m (162-4) ... Won the shot put with a PB heave of 18.55m (60-10.5) at the 44 Farms Invitational and placed fifth in the discus with a mark of 54.82m (179-10) ... Won the discus at the Texas Invitational with a PB throw of 57.33m (188-1) and placed second in the shot put with a mark of 18.28m (59-11.75) ... Placed sixth in the discus at the SEC Outdoor Championships with a PB mark of 59.30m (194-7) that moved him to ninth on the UT all-time performer list, and finished eighth in the shot put with a heave of 18.34m (60-2) ... Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the shot put with a career-best heave at the NCAA West Prelims of 18.81m (61-8.50) to place ninth overall, while also competing in the discus (54.49m | 178-9) ... Indoor: Finished sixth in the shot put at the Corky Classic with a throw of 17.78m (58-4) ... Was ninth at the Razorback Invitational with a throw of 17.09m (56-1) ...
