• Suffered a season-ending injury in the Quinnipiac game [Nov. 23], tearing the anterior cruciate ligament [ACL] in her left knee.
JUNIOR [2017-18]
• All-Big 12 Conference Second-Team selection and member of the Big 12 All-Defensive Team.
• Started all 35 games of the season for the Longhorns, averaging 25.0 minutes per game.
• Averaged 12.8 points per game, which ranked third on the team, 3.3 rebounds per game and was third on the squad with 1.4 steals per game.
• Scored in double figures on 21 occasions, including four 20-plus point performances.
• Ranked second on the team and eighth in the Big 12 Conference in field goal percentage at 53.5 percent [176-of-329].
• Went to the free-throw line more times than any other Longhorns in 2017-18, attempting 106 shots. Connected on 71.7 percent [76-of-106] from the charity stripe, which ranked fifth on the team.
• Had two or more steals in 17 games on the year.
• Registered a team-high 19 points on 9-of-12 shooting in 29 minutes against Arizona State [March 19] in the NCAA Second Round.
• Totaled 15 points on 6-for-7 shooting with three assists and two steals in 23 minutes against Maine [March 17] in the NCAA First Round.
• Scored a game-high 20 points to complement a season-high seven rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes of play against No. 2/3 Baylor in the championship game of the Big 12 Conference Tournament [March 5].
• Charted 19 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 29 minutes at Texas Tech [Jan. 20].
• Played a career-high 35 minutes vs. No. 1/1 UConn [Jan. 15], scoring 13 points, bringing down six rebounds and dishing out four assists.
• Named the USBWA National Player of the Week and the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week after leading Texas to a pair of comeback wins against Oklahoma State [Jan. 3] and Kansas State [Jan. 7]. During the two-game stretch, averaged 28.0 points per game, shot 74.1 percent [20-of-27] from the field, connected on 80 percent [4-of-5] of her shots from beyond the arc and made 92.3 percent [12-of-13] of her free throws. Also led the steals with 2.5 per game and added 2.0 assists per game and 2.5 rebounds per game in an average of 30.5 minutes per game.
• Recorded a game-high 26 points on 9-for-12 shooting from the field, 3-of-3 shooting from beyond the arc and a 5-of-6 clip from the free-throw line against Kansas State [Jan. 7]. Tied her career high with three made three-point field goals and added four assists and three steals in 29 minutes of play.
• Registered a career-high 30 points and helped Texas overcome a six-point deficit with 3:43 remaining to defeat No. 20/23 Oklahoma State [Jan. 3]. Became the first Longhorn to score 30 points since Chassidy Fussell had 31 against Tennessee on Dec. 16, 2012. Played 32 minutes, making a career-best 11-of-15 field goals and tying her career high with seven made free throws. Eighteen of her 30 points came in the second half. Accomplished the feat while handling the defensive assignment of guarding the Cowgirls’ best perimeter player, graduate transfer Loryn Goodwin, who entered the game ranked 10th in the nation averaging 21.9 points per game.
• Scored 25 points on 8-for-13 shooting with a pair of three-pointers and 7-of-8 efficiency from the free-throw line at Oklahoma [Dec. 28] in the Big 12 Conference opener. Added five rebounds, three steals and two assists in 28 minutes.
• Notched 15 points and came up with four steals in 28 minutes in win against No. 12/10 Florida State [Dec. 17].
• Led five Texas players in double figures in the season opener against Stetson [Nov. 12] with 18. Was 7-of-9 from the field and 4-of-5 from the free-throw stripe in 18 minutes of play.
SOPHOMORE [2016-17]
• Played in all 34 games with two starts, averaging 17.3 minutes per game.
• Averaged 8.0 points per game [fifth on the team] and 2.8 rebounds per game.
• Ranked second on the team in field-goal percentage with a .483 [116-for-240] clip. Was 11th among all Big 12 Conference players in field-goal percentage.
• Third on the team in steals with 32.
• Scored in double figures on 10 occasions during the season.
• Charted 12 points and two rebounds vs. No. 17/17 NC State in the NCAA Second Round [March 19].
• Registered 12 points, four rebounds and three assists against Oklahoma State in the Big 12 Tournament Quarterfinals [March 4].
• Tallied seven points, two assists and two steals at No. 19/19 Oklahoma [Feb. 18]. Nailed a half-court shot to end the third quarter vs. the Sooners.
• Scored eight points and brought down six rebounds in a double-overtime victory at No. 5/4 Florida State.
• Charted a season-high 16 points and brought down two rebounds in a victory at No. 2/2 Baylor [Feb. 6].
• Registered 14 points, four rebounds and three assists at TCU [Jan. 25].
• Scored 15 points, brought down four rebounds and dished out a pair of assists against No. 20/20 Oklahoma [Jan. 17].
• Recorded 10 points and four rebounds in a win at No. 18/19 West Virginia [Jan. 14].
• Charted eight points, six boards and two assists at Iowa State [Jan. 1].
• Tallied 12 points and four rebounds vs. Tennessee [Dec. 11].
• Scored a team-high 14 points, brought down five rebounds and dished out five assists against Northwestern State [Nov. 23].
FRESHMAN [2015-16]
• Played in 34 games for the Longhorns, earning her first career start against Little Rock [Dec. 6].
• Led Texas with 48 steals and was fourth on the team in scoring [7.2 points per game]. Also dished out 38 assists on the year.
• Was UT’s leading scorer on four occasions and scored in double figures 11 times.
• Played in all four games of the NCAA Tournament, earning Bridgeport All-Regional Team honors. Averaged 11.5 points per game to complement eight steals during NCAA Tournament play.
• Charted a then-career-high 19 points in Texas’ NCAA Regional Final game against UConn [March 28].
• Scored 11 points and came up with two steals against Missouri [March 21] in the NCAA Second Round.
• In the Big 12 Tournament Championship Game against Baylor [March 7], scored 15 points on 7-of-12 shooting with two steals.
• Brought down a team-high eight rebounds and a career-high eight assists against Sam Houston State [Dec. 27].
• Named Big 12 Freshman of the Week on Nov. 30 after leading Texas to wins against Hampton and No. 4/5 Tennessee. Was the team’s leading scorer over the course of the week, averaging 15.0 points per game to complement 7.5 rebounds per game, which was second on the team during the week.
• Had a breakout game at No. 4/5 Tennessee [Nov. 29], scoring 18 points and bringing down five rebounds. Also connected on a career-high three three-pointers [3-of-5 3FG]. With the game tied at 20-all late in the second quarter, Higgs knocked down a three-pointer and quickly followed with a lay-up to put Texas ahead 25-20, a lead that it would not relinquish in the game.
• Turned in her first career double-double with 12 points and a career-high 10 rebounds against Hampton [Nov. 25].
PREP
• Finished her high school career as a consensus All-American at Cedar Ridge High School. Coached by Angela Beck at Cedar Ridge. Also competed at Kinkaid School in Houston as a freshman.
• Ranked No. 7 overall and No. 3 at the guard position in the class of 2015, according to ESPN.com.
• As a senior in 2014-15, was named a Naismith Trophy finalist [top 5]; Naismith Trophy All-America First Team; a WBCA All-American and a Parade All-American.
• Participated in the McDonald’s All American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic.
• The Austin American-Statesman 2015 Central Texas Player of the Year. Also named Texas Association of Basketball Coaches [TABC] Class 6A All-State and selected to the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Preseason Girls Basketball Team.
• As a senior, led Cedar Ridge to a 30-3 record, averaging 27.0 points per game, 9.0 rebounds per game and 5.0 assists per game.
• As a junior in 2013-14, was named to the TABC Class 5A All-State team, was the District 16-5A Newcomer of the Year and the District 16-5A co-MVP. Guided Cedar Ridge to a 30-4 record, averaging 22.5 points per game, 7.7 rebounds per game, 5.7 assists per game, and 4.9 steals per game.
• As a sophomore in 2012-13, played junior varsity during her first year at Cedar Ridge High School due to Texas University Interscholastic League transfer rules.
• As a freshman in 2011-12, was named to the TABC Small Private School All-State team at The Kinkaid School in Houston. Guided Kinkaid to a 31-3 record and the Southwest Preparatory Conference title. Averaged 19.6 points per game, 10.6 rebounds per game, 5.1 assists per game, and 5.4 steals per game, while shooting 40 percent from 3-point range [26-of-65 3FG]. A three-time Houston Chronicle Player of the Week.
• Played on the same club team as Ariel Atkins and Brooke McCarty [Cy-Fair] that won the 2013 Nike Nationals tournament.

• Born Lashann Aisha Stacher Higgs on Sept. 22, 1995 in Harbour Island, Bahamas.
• Daugher of George and Jackie Washington. Has three younger brothers -- George Jr., Jackson, and Jayden.
• Father, George, is an assistant coach for Texas women’s basketball and was a standout guard at Abilene Christian. Mother, Jackie [Bucher], also played basketball at Abilene Christian and was inducted into the ACU Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.
• Mother Romilly Higgs passed away in 2013 due to cervical cancer. Writes her mother’s name on her left shoe and on her write shoe writes “In Jesus’ name I play” for games.
