Kristen Grant enters her third season as the Director of Video & Recruiting Digital Services for Texas Women’s Basketball.
In her current role, Grant oversees all game film and video scouting operations, Grant will also play a key role in the program's creative/digital recruiting efforts and social media content planning.
In 2021-22, the Longhorns put together a historic 2021-22 campaign, culminating in the program claiming its first Big 12 Championship Title since 2003 and making a second-consecutive run to the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament.
UT finished the season 29-7 overall, which marked its highest win total since the 2015-16 season, and finished as the No. 6-ranked team in the county in the final Associated Press Top-25 poll, its highest finish since the 2003-04 season.
Grant comes to The 40 Acres after serving as the Director of Media at SMU for the last three years. Prior to her time at SMU, Grant spent three years in similar roles at Texas A&M, where she graduated in 2013. Grant spent one season as the Director of Player Development and the Assistant Video Coordinator at Texas A&M before being promoted to Video Coordinator.
As a player for the Aggies, Grant made four appearances in the NCAA Tournament with a 12-3 record and won the 2011 National Championship. She earned a master's degree from Texas A&M in 2017.
