• Helped the second varsity 8+ place fourth in the grand final (6:47.17) at the Conference USA Championship
• Placed third with the second varsity 8+ (7:46.75) at the Big 12 Championship
• Placed seventh with the second varsity 8+ (7:19.4) on day two of the Clemson Invite
• Placed fifth with the second varsity 8+ (7:40.0) on day one of the Clemson Invite
• Helped the second varsity 8+ place fifth in the women’s collegiate 2V8+ petite final (6:58.07) at the San Diego Crew Classic
• Helped the second varsity 8+ defeat Tulsa (7:04.2) and Canisius (7:08.3) at the Longhorn Invitational
• Helped the varsity 8+ “A” entry place fifth among 38 boats (15:41.6) on day two of the Head of the Hooch
• Helped the second varsity 8+ place 12th among 28 boats (16:56.9) on day one of the Head of the Hooch
• Placed 28th with the second varsity 8+ (16:10.472) at the Princeton Chase
AS A FRESHMAN (2012-13)
· Helped UT win the first novice 8+ race (6:57.12) at the Conference USA Championship
· Helped UT’s third varsity 8+ to victory (6:46.48) at the Big 12 Championship
BEFORE TEXAS
· Captain of the varsity drill team as a senior and served as the team’s junior lieutenant as a junior
· Trained with the Dance Variations Dance Company from 2006-2012
PERSONAL
Born July 30, 1994 in Dallas, Texas … daughter of Darryl and Anita Smith … has one sister, Allyson … her cousin, Deron Williams, helped Team USA to a gold medal in basketball at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics and currently plays for the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets … Major is Human Relations.
