Tinnon selected as member of Team USA for Pan American Games

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- USA Swimming has selected University of Texas senior Elizabeth Tinnon (Bowling Green, Ky.) to represent Team USA next year at the Pan American Games scheduled for July 17-22, 2007 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
A nine-time All-American, Tinnon helped Texas to an eighth-place finish at the 2006 NCAA Championships. Tinnon placed sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke and helped the 400-yard medley relay to a seventh-place finish to collect two All-America honors before adding an honorable mention All-America selection by placing 13th in the 200-yard breaststroke.
Tinnon will compete in the 100-meter breaststroke at the Pan American Games.
