Texas featured on Volleyball Magazine cover

AUSTIN, Texas -- University of Texas senior setter Michelle Moriarty is featured on the cover of the September issue of Volleyball Magazine. The Longhorns volleyball team and head coach Jerritt Elliott are showcased in the issue in a four-page spread.
Volleyball Magazine editor in chief Mike Miazga authored the feature on the Longhorns titled "Texas Two-Step." The subhead of the article reads, "The Longhorns have their sights on the big dance."
The magazine cover marks the second time a current UT player has been featured on the cover. Sophomore opposite hitter/setter Ashley Engle was featured on the cover of the magazine's March 2006 issue when she was a senior at Esperanza High School.
The magazine is on newsstands now.
