Men's Cross Country's Miller places sixth at Texas A&M Invitational

AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas junior cross country runner Kyle Miller finished the 8,000-meter men's university race in 24 minutes, 45 seconds, for sixth place at the 2007 Texas A&M Invitational at the Penberthy Intramural Fields on Saturday, Sept. 22.
The Katy, Texas native ran as an individual in his third race of the season.
In the opening race of the 2007 campaign, Miller led the Longhorns with a sixth-place effort in the Bear Invitational 6K race, posting a time of 18:39.6, and finishing first among UT runners. The following week, the he won the Texas State Invitational five-mile race with a 25:36.43 clip, and helped UT take home the team title.
Texas Cross Country returns to team competition as it hosts the UT Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Hancock Golf Course in Austin, Texas.
