Morse finishes 67th at NCAA Cross Country Championship

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Senior Jake Morse used a 30:36.5 (10K) to finish 67th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on the campus of Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind. Morse was UT's lone representative at the national meet after finishing fifth at the NCAA South Central Region Championships.
Morse opened his cross country season by helping UT to a sixth-place finish at the Big 12 Championships. He was Texas' third finisher and placed 38th overall in rounding the 8K course in 25:27.7. Then, he used a 30:36.9 (10K) to place fifth individually in leading UT to a fourth-place finish at the regional meet.
