Final StatsBOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) -- Brittainey Raven scored 20 points to help No. 11 Texas beat Georgia Tech 76-68 on Saturday in the opening round of the FAU Thanksgiving Classic.
Erika Arriaran added 15 points for Texas (6-0), which matched its best start since 2003-04 and will play Florida Atlantic in Sunday's championship game.
Iasia Hemingway led Georgia Tech (3-2) with 14 points and nine rebounds. Jacqua Williams added 13 points for the Yellow Jackets.
Georgia Tech led for most of the first half until Carla Cortijo scored with 8:40 remaining in the first half to give the Longhorns their first lead of the game.
Texas went into halftime with an eight-point lead.
Despite the slow start, the Longhorns outshot the Yellow Jackets by 17 percent from the field and 38 percent from 3-point range.
