WR Malcolm Williams
On the bye week: It was a tough week. We went out there and practiced hard and we're just trying to get better.
On the team's attitude: We felt like as a team we needed to get better. We had to make a positive attitude about our situation. We all just went out there with a positive attitude. You've just got to push forward through everything.
On Nebraska's defense: From what I've seen, they're a really good defense. We have to go out there and play to a standard and try to compete. They're really good on defense. They have a lot of really good players. We just have to go out there and play our game.
On what he expects about the environment at Nebraska: Crazy crowd. That's really all I can expect. I've never been out there. I feel like the crowd is going to be wild. They're going to be pumped up. We've got to go out there and get pumped up and play.
On the team having goals for the rest of the season: All of our goals are still on the table. We can still do a lot of things as far as the Big 12 and down the road. This game is going to be critical for us because it's the next game. We have to go out there and play it like it's going to be our last. All of our goals are still intact, so we just have to keep playing.
RB Fozzy Whittaker
On the offense progressing during the season like last year's team: I feel like we have the same capabilities. As long as we stay mentally sound and eliminate the penalties, I feel like we'll be able to play to the best of our abilities.
On going to Nebraska: We're very excited. We had a bye week. We practiced really hard and focused in. We were real physical like we were in two-a-days. We had a weekend to get away and rest up. Now we're ready to go to Nebraska and play again.
On the team's goals: We have to be fundamentally sound. They're a well-coached team. We have to take into account that they're going to make plays. They're very well-coached. We, in turn, have to be fundamentally sound and make plays ourselves.
On playing on the road in a hostile environment: I feel like it's one of the places we do some of our best work - when we're in our all-whites and considered an underdog. It's something we can look forward to, especially at Nebraska.
On what the offense is doing to establish the run: We're focusing in on getting our blocks more and staying fundamentally sound as an offensive unit. Especially running the ball to open up the passing game.
CB Curtis Brown
On who will be handling punt returns: I'll be back on Saturday, and we [he and Aaron Williams] are going to just alternate like always.
On what they need to do to improve punt returns: Focus better and make better decisions on my behalf. I just have to make better decisions.
On Nebraska: They are exciting to watch. There are great players everywhere on the field. I have a lot of respect for the way they run their offense and how they go out there and play.
On the bye week: During the bye week, we had our practices, and we all knew what we had to do. We united as a team and got together. We have had a pretty bumpy road so far, but I think the bye week helped us out a lot just to try and get back on track.
On rebounding after two losses: Basically, we have to put those games behind us and go out there and play to our standard by doing what we can do as best as we can to compete with these teams in the upcoming games.
On the team's mindset going into the Nebraska game: We just want to go out there and play the game we know we can play. Our standard is high in our eyes. We have been preparing extremely hard, I must say, for this bye week and this week. We've just been going out there and preparing and doing what we can do to put us in a position to win the game.
On Nebraska QB Taylor Martinez: He is an amazing athlete. You guys see him just like we do. We just have to go in and execute our game plan and try to stop him.
On being considered an underdog this weekend: For myself, I do not ever look at the underdog label. We are a good team. We know we are a good team, and we are going to go out there and compete to our best abilities.
