Stephens leads Women's Golf through 36 holes at Windy City Collegiate Classic

Stephens led Texas with an opening round 2-over 74 at the 6,333-yard Glen View Golf Club and followed up with a 76 in the afternoon. Junior Desiree Dubreuil is one stroke back and tied for 28th place at 7-over 151 (75-76).
Junior Madison Pressel carded Monday's lowest round for the Longhorns with an even-par 72 in the second round. Pressel (79-72) shaved seven strokes off of her morning round and is tied with Dubreuil.
Freshman Bertine Strauss (77-78=155) and junior Katelyn Sepmoree (78-79=157) round out the Texas squad in ties for 52nd and 59th places, respectively.
Oklahoma State (291-298=589, +13) holds a six-stroke lead over second-place Arizona (303-292) and Ohio State (296-300) is in possession of third place.
The Longhorns are schedule to begin Tuesday's final round on the 10th tee at 7:48 a.m. Central alongside UC Davis and Tulsa.
