Women's Basketball falls to Oklahoma, 73-67

NORMAN, Okla. - Oklahoma scored the first seven points of the game and never looked back as the Sooners took down Texas Women's Basketball, 73-67, Saturday afternoon at the Lloyd Noble Center.
Three Sooners finished in double figures. Aaryn Ellenberg led all scorers with 18 points, while Morgan Hook and Sharane Campbell added 17 and 15 points, respectively.
Yvonne Anderson led the Longhorns with 15 points. Chelsea Bass finished with 13, and Chassidy Fussell added 10. The Longhorns shot just 30.7 percent from the field for the game.
UT cut Oklahoma's lead to five points with 16:27 left in the second half. That was the closest the Longhorns would come, as the Sooners answered with a 9-0 run.
The Longhorns host Missouri on Wednesday, Jan. 25 at the Frank Erwin Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
