POST-MATCH COMMENTS
Texas head coach Patty Fendick-McCain
It was a great comeback after yesterday's loss. It's really nice to end the weekend on a high note. Aeriel (Ellis) gets to 100 wins, and what can you say? She couldn't have scripted it better for Senior Day. What a great career! Aeriel has had such an impact on this program, and it's great to see her having a strong senior season. We hope to see her continue to add to that career wins column.
Texas senior Aeriel Ellis
On being honored on Senior Day: Senior Day is always awesome. I remember being a freshman and thinking, "Oh this is never going to be me!" And, now it is me. It's really such an honor. It's kind of a sad day because it's my last home match. I can't believe how the time flew by. It has definitely been a blessing to be here and be able to play on these courts for four years.
On securing her 100th career singles win on Senior Day: That's just the icing on the cake, really. I couldn't have asked for a better way to go out here at Texas.
