Junior CB Quandre Diggs is a finalist
Fan voting for the Paul Hornung Award, which is given annually to the most versatile player in college football, is now open. Texas cornerback Quandre Diggs is a finalist for the award.
Fans can vote as often as once a day at votepaulhornung.com. Results of the fans' selection will count for one vote, adding to the votes cast by the 16-member Selection Committee.
Voting will continue through November 18, 2013. Fans will then have the chance to vote for the winner from among the finalists in a second round of voting. This year's winner and his family will be honored on January 28, 2014, at a banquet at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville.
Diggs has started the last 26 games at cornerback and ranks 10th on the FBS career interceptions list (0.28 per game). The junior has also returned five punts for 48 yards this season, an average of 9.6 yards per return.
