Specific game times against Tennessee and Oklahoma were released, while television window assignments were made for six other SEC contests.
AUSTIN, Texas – Additional kickoff times and television window assignments for eight games of Texas Football's 2026 schedule were announced by ESPN and the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Wednesday evening.
Texas' Week 4 away game at Tennessee will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn. The game will broadcast on either ABC or ESPN. Following a bye week, this year's edition of the Allstate Red River Rivalry between Texas and Oklahoma is slated for a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. That game will also air on either ABC or ESPN.
The TV window assignments were also revealed for games versus Florida (Oct. 17), Ole Miss (Oct. 24), Mississippi State (Oct. 31), Missouri (Nov. 7), LSU (Nov. 14) and Arkansas (Nov. 21). The TV network designations will be announced at a later date for those games.
All SEC-controlled games starting with Week 4 (Sept. 26) have set television windows, with select games tagged as Flex games between the Afternoon and Night windows. Designating windows for all games after Week 3 prior to the start of the season is a benefit of the rights agreement between the Southeastern Conference and ESPN which began in 2024.
The windows for Weeks 4-14 are defined as: Early (11 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT); Afternoon (2:30 to 3:30 p.m. CT); Night (5 to 7 p.m. CT); and Flex (2:30-3:30 p.m. or 5-7 p.m. CT). For all listed windows, the exact start time within them will be confirmed no later than six days prior to the game unless otherwise noted.
Texas' Week 7 SEC home opener versus Florida on Saturday, Oct. 17, is scheduled for an Early start time (11 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT) at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
During Week 8, Texas will host Ole Miss on Saturday, Oct. 24, with a Flex start time (2:30-3:30 p.m. or 5-7 p.m. CT) in Austin.
Texas continues its three-game home stand with Mississippi State on Saturday, Oct. 31, at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium. The game is slated for a Night start time (5-7 p.m. CT).
During Week 10, Texas hits the road to Missouri on Saturday, Nov. 7, with an Early start time (11 a.m.-12 p.m. CT) at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium.
Texas goes on the road back-to-back weekends as the Longhorns travel to Baton Rouge, La., to take on LSU on Saturday, Nov. 14, inside Tiger Stadium. The game is scheduled for a Flex start (2:30-3:30 p.m. or 5-7 p.m. CT).
Texas' Week 12 home game versus Arkansas on Saturday, Nov. 21, will take place in the Afternoon (2:30-3:30 p.m. CT) at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
