TEAM NOTES
• Series: With tonight's win, BYU now leads the all-time series 3-1. The teams met in 2011 with the Longhorns winning 17-16. BYU won in 1987 and 1988.
• Road Streak Snapped: Texas had its 13-game nonconference road win streak snapped. The Longhorns last lost to a non-Big 12 foe away from home in 2000 when Stanford won 27-24.
• Winning Early: The loss was just Texas' fifth over the last 47 games during the months of August and September.
• Big Plays: The Longhorns have 12 touchdowns this season and five have come on plays of 50 yards or more. Texas had 10 offensive plays of 50 or more yards last season.
• Two 100-Yard Receivers: The Longhorns had two 100-yard receivers in the same game for the 14th time in school history and fourth time in the last three years. Mike Davis (8-114) and Jaxon Shipley (8-105) did it for the second time. They also went over 100 yards last season vs. Iowa State.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
