The Longhorns will open the 2013-14 season at Tulsa Country Club, site of the 2014 NCAA Championship.
SEASON OPENER: Texas opens the 2013-14 season this weekend at the Dale McNamara Fall Preview at Tulsa Country Club (par-70; 6,136 yards) in Tulsa, Okla. Fifty-four holes will be contested over Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with 18 holes played each day beginning at 8 a.m. each day. Tee times will be fixed off of the No. 1 and 10 tees.
THE FIELD (2013 NCAA Championship finish): USC (1st), Duke (2nd), Arizona State (5th), Alabama (7th), Arizona (8th), Oklahoma (T-9th), Tulane (T-9th), Oklahoma State (12th), Stanford (T-13th), Arkansas (T-13th), Vanderbilt (18th), Texas (21st), Georgia, North Carolina, Tulsa.
LINEUP: Junior Bertine Strauss and sophomores Natalie Karcher and Tezira Abe will lead the Longhorns in the top three postions, respectively. Freshmen Julia Beck and Anne Hakula will make their collegiate debuts at Nos. 4 and 5.
