Head Coach Jerritt Elliott
On the win over Oklahom: We weren't in rhythm for a lot of the match. We struggled, but I thought our team did a good job of fighting back. Most importantly, we just started fighting at the end of game four and into game five. It showed a lot of grit.
On winning the Big 12 Championship: It's huge. We never take that for granted, it's an honor to win that. It's a great conference and it's very hard to do when you play a true double-round robin. It's a tribute to our girls and how hard they've worked, what this program has done and we are really excited to be able to win that championship and add another year to our banner.
Senior Haley Eckerman
On winning the Big 12 Championship: It feels great, because we've accomplished our first goal. Our first goal is always to win the Big 12. To know that we have done that every single year, it gives us more confidence.
