Former women's tennis coach Jeff Moore earns ITA Hall of Fame induction

Former UT head coach Jeff Moore selected as a member of the ITA Women’s Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame Class of 2014.
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced Monday the selection of former Texas head women's tennis coach Jeff Moore as a member of the ITA Women's Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame Class of 2014. The ITA will induct its six-member class on Nov. 15.
Moore led the Longhorns to two NCAA team titles (1993 & 1995) and a pair of NCAA runner-up finishes in his 23 seasons (1983-2005) on the Forty Acres. Moore posted a 506-153 (.768) overall record at Texas and took the Longhorns to the NCAA Championships during each of his 23 seasons in Austin. He led Texas to 10 NCAA top-five finishes.
Texas won 11 Southwest Conference and seven Big 12 Conference regular season crowns during Moore's tenure. Nineteen Longhorns collected 44 All-America honors under Moore's tutelage.
A six-time SWC and two-time Big 12 Coach of the Year, Moore was inducted into the UT Women's Athletics Hall of Honor in 2002.
