KOLDING, Denmark -- Two-time All-American Søren Hess-Olesen helped Denmark advance in the Davis Cup on Sunday as the Danes defeated Moldova, 4-3, in the Group II Europe/Africa Third Round.

With the win, Denmark will now be promoted to the Davis Cup's Group I in 2015.

Hess-Olesen, who did not compete during Denmark's third round matchup, is the reigning Big 12 Player of the Year and will begin his senior season ranked fifth in the collegiate singles rankings. This is his first nomination to Denmark's Davis Cup team.
