• DAVIS ENJOYS ATLANTIS: Freshman guard Eric Davis, Jr. has averaged a team-best 17.0 ppg in the first two games at the Battle 4 Atlantis. He has converted 11-of-18 (.611) field goals, including 5-of-9 (.556) from three-point range. Davis had a team-high 19 points on Wednesday against No. 25/nr Texas A&M and a team-best 15 against Washington on Thursday night.
• RIDLEY SEES DOUBLE: Senior center Cameron Ridley posted his second double-double in the first four games with his 13-point, 11-rebound effort last night against Washington. For the year, Ridley is averaging a double-double at 11.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per game while hitting 18-of-26 (.692) field goals.
• BENCH PROVIDES LIFT: The Longhorns posted a 37-13 advantage in bench scoring during Thursday's win against Washington. In addition to Davis, UT received solid contributions from Tevin Mack (7 points/4 reb), Kerwin Roach, Jr. (8 points/5 reb) and Shaquille Cleare (5 points/5 reb).
