TEXAS-KANSAS SERIES
• Texas leads the all-time series with Kansas, 18-10, including a 4-1 mark under Head Coach Karen Aston. The series is tied, 6-6, in Lawrence, Kansas.
• The Longhorns have won the last four meetings with the Jayhawks.
• In the first meeting of the season, then-No. 3/3 Texas defeated Kansas, 60-46, in Austin to open Big 12 Conference play for both teams.
CRASHING THE BOARDS
• Texas has out-rebounded 22 of 23 opponents this season.
• UT's +10.4 rebounding margin ranks 11th in the nation. Even in losing efforts, Texas still maintains an +7.8 rebounding margin.
• The Horns are averaging 43.2 rebounds per game and holding opponents to 32.8 boards.
• Sophomore center Kelsey Lang is the Longhorns' active leading rebounder with 6.6 rebounds per game, including 8.3 rpg in the last three games.
WINS AND LOSSES
• During UT's 15 wins this season, Texas has averaged 72.9 points on 45.1 percent shooting from the field. UT is 14-2 when scoring 60 points or more in a game.
• During UT's eight losses, the Horns average 59.4 points on 36.4 percent shooting.
• Texas has a +2.5 turnover margin during wins and a -6.4 turnover margin in losses.
• After finishing non-conference with three top-10 wins and an 11-0 record, the Longhorns are seeking their first Big 12 road win of the season (0-6). The last Big 12 road win was a 67-64 victory at Texas Tech on March 1, 2014.
LANG STAYING CONSISTENT
• Sophomore center Kelsey Lang is the team's active leading scorer (11.3 ppg), rebounder (6.6 rpg) and shooter (.577; 112-194 FG). She also co-leads Texas in minutes played (28.2 mpg) with Brady Sanders.
• Lang has scored double-figure points in eight consecutive games.
• The Woodlands, Texas native has started in all 22 games she has played in and has reached double-figure points 15 times.
• Lang recorded her first career double-double against Baylor (Feb. 8), scoring 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in 37 minutes.
• Lang has scored a career-high 20 points twoice this season -- against UTPA (Nov. 26) and Baylor (Feb. 8). Her .769 shooting percentage from the field against UTPA is the 12th-highest in program history.
• Lang was named Big 12 Player of the Week on Dec. 1 -- her first career Big 12 weekly honor. Lang averaged 19 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting .750 (18-of-24) from the field during Texas' wins over UT-Pan American and No. 4/5 Tennessee.
McGEE-STAFFORD ON A ROLL
• Junior center Imani McGee-Stafford is beginning to hit her stride after missing eight games due to preseason leg surgery.
• In her five starts this season, McGee-Stafford averages 14.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, and a .600 shooting percentage in just 24.8 minutes.
• Per 40 minutes during Big 12 play: 21.8 points, 14.1 rebounds, 4.0 blocks
• Has four double-figure scoring efforts in the last five games.
• McGee-Stafford posted 16 points and 12 rebounds in 29 minutes at Oklahoma State on Wednesday.
• She notched her first 20-point game of the season with 22 points (10-16 FG) in 27 minutes at TCU (Feb. 1).
• In UT's double-overtime win over Oklahoma (Jan. 29), McGee-Stafford registered her first double-double of the season with season highs of 15 points, 11 rebounds and 29 minutes played.
• On Jan. 17, she became engaged to Paul Boyette Jr., a defensive tackle on the Texas Football team.
• McGee-Stafford played for the first time of the season on Dec. 17 against McNeese State after recovering from surgery to reinforce her left tibia in September. She missed the first eight games of the season.
• The Los Angeles native was the 2013 Big 12 Freshman of the Year and earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors last season.
INJURY REPORT
• Sophomore forward Nekia Jones (left knee) is indefinitely out.
• Senior forward Nneka Enemkpali (left knee) is out for the season after tearing her ACL at Baylor (Jan 19).
• Associate Athletic Trainer Lisa Stalans (stall-ins) has treated nine student-athletes who have missed a combined 36 games.
IRON WOMAN
• Amidst a season of injuries for the Longhorns, junior guard Celina Rodrigo has played in 87 consecutive games -- the longest streak on the team.
• Included in her 87 career games played are 60 starts with 3.3 assists per game in 21.7 minutes per game.
• Rodrigo has started 13 games this season.
Atkins FINDING HER GROOVE
• In the last five games, freshman guard Ariel Atkins is averaging 12.6 points in 33.0 minutes.
• On the year, Atkins averages 9.9 points per game and leads UT in free throw percentage (.815).
• Atkins was named the USBWA National Freshman of the Week on Feb. 3 after posting 34 points (17.0 ppg) points in two games against Oklahoma (Jan. 29) and TCU (Feb. 1).
• During UT's double-overtime victory over Oklahoma (Jan. 29), Atkins registered 21 points (7-17 FG, 7-8 FT) in 40 minutes.
• The Preseason Big 12 Freshman of the Year missed eight games in December and January with an ankle injury, before returning against Texas Tech (Jan. 17).
• Atkins made her first 14 free throws of her collegiate career.
• Atkins was a 2014 McDonald's High School All-American and played for the USA Basketball U18 National Team during the summer of 2014.
SANDERS ASSISTING
• Junior guard Brady Sanders leads the Longhorns in assists (68; 3.1 apg).
• In the last four games, Sanders is averaging 5.5 assists.
• This season Sanders has recorded five-or-more assists in a game seven times. Entering the season, she featured just three games with five-or-more assists.
• Sanders also co-leads the team in minutes (28.2 mpg) with Kelsey Lang.
McCarty PROVIDES SPARK
• Freshman guard Brooke McCarty has started the last six games at point guard.
• McCarty has just three turnovers in the last three games.
• When McCarty is on the floor, Texas is out-scoring is opponents with an +11.4 scoring margin per 40 minutes.
• McCarty is coming off her second 20-point effort of the season with 21 points at Oklahoma State (Feb. 11).
• McCarty played in a conference-high 49 minutes in a double-overtime victory over Oklahoma (Jan. 29). She also dished out a season-high eight assists against the Sooners.
• McCarty has converted on 11 of her last 13 trips to the free throw line.
• McCarty came off the bench to lead the Longhorns in scoring with 20 points (7-14 FG, 5-9 3FG) at UCLA (Nov. 23).
• She made her first career start against Northwestern State (Dec. 14).
• The 2014 McDonald's High School All-American is averaging 7.3 points and 24.4 minutes this season.
POINTS IN THE PAINT
• Texas is out-scoring its opponents in the paint by an average of 35-to-21, a +14 point margin.
• Texas has scored 40+ points in the paint in five games this season.
• During Big 12 play, Texas has a 29-22 scoring advantage in the paint.
• During non-conference play, Texas had a 41-19 scoring advantage in the paint.
• The Longhorns scored a season-high 58 points in the paint against McNeese State (Dec. 17). It was the most since scoring 60 in the paint against Sam Houston State last season.
DEEP BENCH
• 11 Longhorns average more than 10 minutes per game. Texas' bench out-scores its counterpart by an average of 24-to-14.
