TEXAS-TCU SERIES
• Texas faces TCU for the 37th time in series history to close the regular season in front of a home crowd on Tuesday, March 3 (7 p.m. Central, Longhorn Network).
• The Longhorns hold a 34-2 advantage in the all-time series, including a 16-0 record in Austin.
• Texas won the first 33 meetings of the series before losing to TCU in the last two games played in Fort Worth.
• In the first meeting of the season on Feb. 1 in Fort Worth, junior center Imani McGee-Stafford scored 22 points on 10-of-16 shooting, but TCU forced 25 Texas turnovers to eventually edge the Longhorns, 64-59.
SENIOR NIGHT
• Tuesday marks the last home game for two senior Longhorns -- Nneka Enemkpali and Krystle Henderson.
• Enemkpali has been one of the most dynamic student-athletes in Texas Basketball history. At the time of her season-ending injury in January, Enemkpali led the Big 12 in rebounds (10.6 rpg), double-doubles (9), and rebounds during Big 12-only games (66). In the Texas record books, she finishes her career ranked ninth in total rebounds (899) and 30th in total points (1,116).
• Henderson joined the team in 2013 after transferring from Trinity Valley Community College, where she won a NJCAA Division I title. The Dallas native has played in 60 games with 14 starts during her two seasons in Burnt Orange & White, and has more importantly set the example for academic excellence on the team. Last year she was named Academic Team MVP and last month she was named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team.
REGULAR SEASON FINALES
• Texas is 31-9 in all-time regular season finales, including an 11-7 mark during the Big 12 Conference era.
• UT is 17-4 in regular season finales played in Austin.
NEARING THE 20-WIN MARK
• Texas is one win away from its 32nd 20-win season. It is the second consecutive year Texas enters its regular season finale just one win away from its 20th win.
• Last season, Texas reached 20 wins for the first time since the 2009-10 season.
• All of UT's 20-win teams have earned a berth in the NCAA Championship, since joining the Association in the 1982-83 season.
• Karen Aston has been apart of seven 20-win teams at Texas -- six as an assistant coach (1998-2006) and one as a head coach (2012-present).
HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
• Texas holds a 13-2 record at home this season and a 27-4 mark since last season.
• At home this season, the Horns are averaging 71.1 points on 45 percent shooting with a +18.4 scoring margin and a +11.4 rebounding margin.
• With a win on Tuesday, Texas would notch back-to-back 14-win seasons at home. Last season UT went 14-2 at the Erwin Center.
• The last time Texas won at least 14 home games in back-to-back seasons was in 2002-03 (15-0) and 2003-04 (16-0).
DEEP BENCH
• 11 Longhorns average more than 10 minutes per game.
• Texas' bench out-scores its counterpart, 24-13, including a 20-10 average during Big 12 play.
• In the last three games, UT' bench has out-scored the opponent's bench by a total of 70-13.
• Sophomore center Kelsey Lang and injured senior forward Nneka Enemkpali are the only two student-athletes who have started all games they have played in this season for UT.
CRASHING THE BOARDS
• Texas has out-rebounded 26 of 28 opponents this season.
• UT's +10.3 rebounding margin ranks 11th in the nation.
• The Horns are averaging 42.7 rebounds per game and holding opponents to 32.4 boards.
• The Longhorns posted a +23 rebound margin at Kansas (Feb. 14). It marked the third-largest rebound margin this season and largest in a Big 12 contest.
• The Horns held a 39-33 rebounding advantage the last time Texas and WVU met (Jan. 7).
WINS AND LOSSES
• During its 19 wins this season, Texas has averaged 71.8 points on 44.3 percent shooting from the field.
• During UT's nine losses, the Horns average 60.4 points on 37.2 percent shooting.
• The Longhorns are 18-2 when scoring 60 points or more in a game and 12-0 when scoring 70 points or more.
• Texas has a +2.1 turnover margin during wins and a -6.3 turnover margin in losses.
POINTS IN THE PAINT
• Texas is out-scoring its opponents in the paint by an average of 33-to-21, a +12 point margin.
• Texas doubled Oklahoma State in the paint, 32-16, on Feb. 25.
• Texas has scored 40+ points in the paint in five games this season.
• During non-conference play, Texas had a 41-19 scoring advantage in the paint.
• The Longhorns scored a season-high 58 points in the paint against McNeese State (Dec. 17). It was the most since scoring 60 in the paint against Sam Houston State last season.
McCARTY TAKING POINT
• Two-time Big 12 Freshman fo the Week Brooke McCarty has started the last 11 games at point guard for the Longhorns.
• The League City, Texas, native leads Texas with 35 3-point field goals this season.
• She has converted on 21 of her last 24 trips to the free throw line (.875 FT%).
• When McCarty is on the floor, Texas is out-scoring is opponents with a +10.2 scoring margin per 40 minutes.
LANG STAYING CONSISTENT
• Sophomore center Kelsey Lang is the team's active leading scorer (10.7 ppg), rebounder (6.3 rpg) and shooter (.565; 131-232 FG).
• Lang has scored double-figure points in 10 of the last 13 games.
• The Woodlands, Texas native has started in all 27 games she has played in and has reached double-figure points 17 times.
ATKINS FINDING HER GROOVE
• Freshman guard Ariel Atkins is the leading scorer among Big 12 freshmen (10.7 ppg) and leads Texas is free throw percentage (.843).
• In the last four games she is shooting 50 percent from the field (17-34 FG). In her first 15 games of the season, Atkins shot 35.3 percent from the field (49-139 FG).
• Atkins is a three-time Big 12 Freshman of the Week and was named the USBWA National Freshman of the Week on Feb. 3 after posting 34 points (17.0 ppg) in two games against Oklahoma (Jan. 29) and TCU (Feb. 1).
McGEE-STAFFORD ON A ROLL
• Junior center Imani McGee-Stafford has four double-doubles and four double-figure scoring efforts in the last seven games.
• She is coming her fourth double-double of the season at West Virginia on Sunday, scoring 19 points with 12 rebounds in 30 minutes off the bench.
• In her five starts this season, McGee-Stafford averages 14.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, and a .600 shooting percentage in just 24.8 minutes.
• Per 40 minutes during Big 12 play, she averages 21.5 points, 15.4 rebounds and 4.4 blocks
INJURY REPORT
• Sophomore forward Nekia Jones (left knee) is out indefinitely.
• Senior forward Nneka Enemkpali (left knee) is out for the season after tearing her ACL at Baylor (Jan 19).
• Nine Longhorns have missed a combined 46 games this season.
SHOOTING POTENTIAL
• In the last five games, Texas is shooting 38.9 percent from beyond the arc (37-95 3FG); in the previous 21 games, Texas shot 25.9 percent from 3-point range.
• Last season, Texas led the Big 12 in 3-point field goal percentage (.365, 187-512 3FG). But this season, Texas ranks 8th in the Big 12 in 3-point field goal percentage.
