Texas opens home conference play against Sooners in weekend series.
Texas Softball welcomes No. 5 Oklahoma to Red & Charline McCombs Field for the Longhorns' first home conference series of the season. The series opens on Friday, April 10.
Because of potential inclement weather throughout the weekend, the teams will play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday's game is still scheduled for 1 p.m.; however, if weather threatens, the teams could complete their three-game series on Sunday.
Texas enters the conference series on a hot streak after another comeback win -- this time against Texas State. The Longhorns scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to win 6-5. Texas is 9-1 over the last 10 contests dating back to March 16.
