Entering week seven of the 2016 National Football League schedule, several Longhorns are having standout seasons. Catch up on the happenings of the Texas Exes through six weeks.
Sam Acho, Chicago Bears
The Bears lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars scoring their first touchdowns in the last two minutes of a 17-16 defeat ... Acho tied a season high of three total tackles ... first to represent the Longhorns in week seven as the Bears face the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.
Malcolm Brown, Los Angeles Rams
The Longhorns' representative for the Rams in the season's second game in London and a first ever at the England rugby national team's Twickenham stadium ... an 8.30 a.m. CT kickoff on Sunday brings an early serving of football as Brown and the 3-3 Rams face the New York Giants (3-3).
Malcom Brown, New England Patriots
A second consecutive week with five combined tackles for Brown in a 35-17 win against the Cincinnati Bengals ... in the top 10 for tackles on the 13th-ranked Patriots defense with 18 combined stops ... Brown and the Patriots face a top 10 offense on Sunday with a road trip to the 4-2 Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs
Found the end zone on his seventh touch of the season as the Chiefs (3-2) beat the Raiders 26-10 ... Charles had 11 touches in total in his second game back from a 2015 ACL tear, with longest gains of 17 on the ground and 16 through the air ... will look to continue making progress in his season home debut against the 2-3 New Orleans Saints.
Phil Dawson, San Francisco 49ers
Made a season-long 48-yard field goal, maintaining a perfect day with three field goals and an extra point attempt ... Dawson's ten points with the boot could not lift the 49ers to victory against the Buffalo Bills, however ... San Francisco (1-5) travels to take on the 2-3 Buccaneers on Sunday, with calm conditions forecast for Tampa.
Quandre Diggs, Detroit Lions
Diggs and the Detroit defense secured a 31-28 win for the 3-3 Lions, forcing an interception in the last two minutes against the Los Angeles Rams ... had a third consecutive game with five total tackles, ranking second on the Lions defense with 22 ... faces the fifth-ranked passing offense of the Washington Redskins (4-2) on Sunday.
Marquise Goodwin, Buffalo Bills
Caught two passes for 22 yards as the Buffalo Bills beat the San Francisco 49ers 45-16 ... Goodwin has played in every game for the Bills this season, accruing 165 yards receiving and two touchdown receptions ... begins a two-week stretch of AFC East division matchups with a road game against the Miami Dolphins.
Donald Hawkins, Carolina Panthers
Hawkins and the Carolina Panthers receive the respite of a bye in week seven ... has played in all six games so far for the Panthers, with Carolina's fourth-ranked offense placing in the top 10 for both passing and rushing yardage ... a rematch of the 2015 NFC Championship Game with the Arizona Cardinals (3-3) awaits on Sunday, Oct. 30.
Jordan Hicks, Philadelphia Eagles
Recorded a season-high for combined tackles for a second consecutive week, but could not prevent a second straight one score loss for the Philadelphia ... has played in every game this season, making 21 tackles ... Hicks and the 3-2 Eagles, looking to rediscover the form of a 3-0 start to the season, face the undefeated Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Tony Hills, New Orleans Saints
Has played in every game for the Saints since being picked up for week three ... blocking for the NFL's second-ranked offense and likely future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees ... on a winning streak of two games, the Saints (2-3) go marching to Kansas City to take on the 3-2 Chiefs.
Derrick Johnson, Kansas City Chiefs
Following the Chiefs' bye, Johnson and Kansas City were 26-10 victors against the AFC West division rival Oakland Raiders ... again leading his team in tackles, Johnson's nine combined stops lifted him to 40 on the season ... faces off against a high powered Saints offense on Sunday.
Roy Miller, Jacksonville Jaguars
Made four tackles as the Jaguars beat the Chicago Bears to record a second victory of the season ... reached the 10 tackle mark, having started every game so far ... Miller and the 2-3 Jaguars will make a bid to get a winning streak rolling when they host the Oakland Raiders in Jacksonville on Sunday.
Brian Orakpo, Tennessee Titans
Ranks third for sacks in the NFL with seven on the season, having added one more in a 28-26 victory against the Cleveland Browns ... also had two tackles as the Titans moved to 3-3 ... one game out of first place in the AFC South, Orakpo and the Titans head into an important two week stretch of home games against division opponents.

Hassan Ridegway, Indianapolis Colts
Hassan Ridgeway and the 2-4 Colts fell to a late comeback from the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football .. has six tackles and one-half sack so far in his rookie the season ... faces an AFC South division matchup on Sunday with the 3-3 Tennessee Titans.
Keenan Robinson, New York Giants
Heads to London to face fellow Longhorn and Rams running back Malcolm Brown at Twickenham Stadium ... has 29 tackles on the season, ranking sixth on the New York defense ... made three tackles as the the Giants secured a 27-23 victory against the Baltimore Ravens in week six.
Brian Robison, Minnesota Vikings
Returns to action with the undefeated Vikings against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday ... coming off a big performance as Minnesota rolled into their week six bye with a 31-13 defeat of the Houston Texans ... Robison has eight tackles, four sacks and two forces fumbles so far in his 10th NFL season.
Geoff Swaim, Dallas Cowboys
Swaim and the Cowboys defeated the Packers 30-16 on Sunday night ... enter their bye week at 5-1 on the season and will play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday (Oct. 30) Night Football.
Earl Thomas, Seattle Seahawks
Had a crucial interception in the final minutes to help the Seahawks defeat the Atlanta Falcons, 26-24 ... also recorded four tackles and three pass breakups ... Thomas and the Seahawks will travel to take on NFC West-rival Arizona on Sunday night.
Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens
Continued a perfect season by making all three field goals attempts in a 27-23 loss against the New York Giants ... is 15-of-15 on the season ... Tucker and the Ravens take on the New York Jets Sunday.

In a 23-27 loss against the New York Giants, Tucker was 3/3 on field goals with his long being from 39 yards out. He is 15/15 for the season. Tucker will look to continue his undefeated streak, when the Ravens take on the New York Jets Sunday at noon.
Kenny Vaccaro, New Orleans Saints
Registered seven tackles in the Saints 41-38 victory over the Carolina Panthers ... Saints look to continue their winning streak as they play the Kansas City Chiefs this week.
