POST-MATCH COMMENTS
Texas head coach Howard Joffe
I feel like Oklahoma did a very good job today with respect to the competing. Anyone who watched the match could tell that they were invested and pumped up with a vicious outpouring of emotion. That might have a lot to do with us being the favorite in this match. As much as they took it to us and were very motivated, we were on our emotional heels a little bit, which was disappointing but understandable. Nonetheless, we were able to gut out the doubles point. We did a good job of absorbing some of their gusto to get over the finish line. The hope is that we can start here. We've got six or seven more weeks to go of the season hopefully to produce some better tennis, because that's where our bread will ultimately be buttered.
