NOTES
• The Longhorns have only lost seven matches in Gregory Gym since 2007 (139-7) for a .952 winning percentage. Texas boasts a 347-54 (.865) record in Gregory Gym since 1974 and have won 83.2 of their matches in Austin (530-107-1).
• Texas opened its season at the VERT Challenge in Eugene, Ore., with a 1-1 record after defeating Oregon, 3-1 and falling to No. 1 Nebraska, 3-0.
• Junior Ebony Nwanebu led the Longhorns in kills, recording 33 (4.71) in the two matches for a .342 hitting percentage (20 at .348 vs. Oregon; 13 at .333 vs. Nebraska). She also had 21 digs (3.00/set) and four blocks (0.57).
• Three freshmen saw time during the weekend, including liberos Autumn Rounsaville and Claire Hahn and middle blocker Orie Agbaji. Rounsaville posted 11 digs, five assists and two aces in her debut vs. Oregon.
