• VALUE AND SHARE THE ROCK: Texas recorded an impressive 23-to-5 assist-to-turnover ratio as a team during Friday night's season opener. Freshman point guard Matt Coleman registered 7 assists without a turnover in his collegiate debut.
• BALANCED ATTACK: Seven different Longhorns reached double figures in scoring during Friday's season opener.
• TOP THE CENTURY MARK: The 105 points scored in Friday's opener marked the ninth time that UT has reached the century mark in scoring in a season opener and first time since the 2006-07 opener against Alcorn State. UT improved to 67-1 in home games all-time when topping the century mark.
