Windle, Cornish post top-five finishes at UT Diving Invite

Texas freshman Jordan Windle and sophomore Jacob Cornish finish strong in the UT Diving Invite finale.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas freshman Jordan Windle and UT sophomore Jacob Cornish posted top-five finishes in the men's platform competition Saturday afternoon as the UT Diving Invite came to a close.
Windle, the one-meter and three-meter champion at the Invite, placed third in Saturday's platform final with 384.70 points. Cornish followed closely behind in fourth with 370.45 points.
Miami's Zach Cooper claimed the win with 459.65 points, and his Hurricanes teammate David Dinsmore finished as the runner-up with 444.10 points.
Windle maxed out with 86.40 points on his sixth and final dive, an armstand with two somersaults and one-and-a-half twists that warranted a perfect 10 from one of the three judges. Cornish finished strong with his sixth dive, a back one-and-a-half somersault with three-and-a-half twists.
