No. 30 Women's Tennis falls to No. 8 Oklahoma State

Longhorns wrap Big 12 weekend road trip Sunday at Oklahoma.
STILLWATER, Okla. – No. 8 Oklahoma State (14-3, 2-0 Big 12) won the doubles point and three singles decisions in a 4-0 win over No. 32 Texas (7-4, 0-1 Big 12) Friday at OSU's Greenwood Tennis Center.
Oklahoma State won matches at the second and first doubles positions to lock up the doubles point. The Cowgirls tacked on to their lead by way of Sofia Blanco's 6-4, 6-3 win over UT junior Dani Wagland at sixth singles.
OSU assumed a 3-0 lead behind a three-set win from its 43rd-ranked Aliona Bolsova over UT's 62nd-ranked freshman Petra Granic at third singles.
Oklahoma State closed out its 4-0 victory at first singles, where the 10th-ranked Viktoriya Lushkova dealt Texas freshman Bianca Turati a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 defeat.
Texas concludes its opening weekend of conference play on Sunday when it visits Oklahoma. First serve is set for noon CT at OU's Headington Family Tennis Center.

I'm really disappointed for our group from the standpoint of what was invested tonight. Our ladies poured everything into this match and on virtually every court it was a total dogfight.
